AI is not transforming the world of work. Learning is.

16/6/2026

Bild
One insight stayed with me after #futurework26: Most organizations are discussing technology.
But the real challenge is something else:
How fast are we learning?

AI is evolving faster than many processes. Faster than some organizational structures. And often faster than our habits.

As a result, the leadership challenge is shifting.
From: “I know it.”
To: “We are learning it.”
From I know it all to I learn it all.

This is where adaptability becomes a critical meta-skill.
Not as the ability to know everything.
But as the willingness to question assumptions, experiment with new approaches, and remain effective amid uncertainty.

What continues to occupy my mind is this:
Many organizations are investing heavily in technology.

The more important question may be:
Are we investing with the same intensity in learning, collaboration, and leadership?
Because transformation rarely fails because of technology.
It fails when people are not brought along.

What actually happens if we change nothing?

11/6/2026

Bild
“What actually happens if we change nothing?” This question has stayed with me since the Creative Bureaucracy Festival.

The spontaneous answer in many organizations is:
"Then things simply stay the way they are."

I believe that's exactly what is not true.
Because stagnation is rarely neutral.

Even when we change nothing, things still change:
Trust erodes. Accountability becomes blurred. Decisions are postponed. The organization's ability to act gradually declines.

Not as a crisis.
But almost unnoticed.

This leads me to a second observation:
Many organizations already know what needs to be done.

There is no shortage of analysis. No shortage of strategies. No shortage of concepts.

The bottleneck often lies elsewhere:
In the ability to translate insight into collective action.

Perhaps this is why the traditional path of
Analyze → Plan → Change
is no longer sufficient on its own.

Change often starts earlier:
See → Feel → Change
Observe. Understand. Act.

This is where leadership becomes critical.

Not as an additional layer of control.
But as the ability to create direction, strengthen accountability, and mobilize people toward action.

My key takeaway:
Transformation rarely fails because of a lack of knowledge.
It fails when insight does not turn into execution.

👉 Where do you currently see the biggest gap between knowing and doing in your organization?

I work with leadership teams precisely on this point: where strategy, decision-making, and collaboration come together anew, and direction emerges from a multitude of issues.

TRANSFORMATION IS NOT A TECHNOLOGY PROJECT. IT IS A LEADERSHIP PROJECT.

Many organizations are investing heavily in digitalization, platforms, and AI.

What is often underestimated: transformation rarely fails because of technology. It fails because of leadership, communication, and the ability to make and sustain decisions.

Post @TRANSFORM Recap · Executive Take

Organizations are investing heavily in AI, platforms, and new structures, yet the results often fall short of expectations. Why?

Because transformation isn’t decided by the system, but by behavior: Are we listening? Are we reimagining collaboration? Are we making decisions that truly bring about change?

Performance starts with the individual and ripples out to the team and the organization. At the same time, the pressure is mounting: more speed, more technology, more complexity.

Solutions
Reduce complexity. Create clarity. Redefine collaboration.

Rethink leadership
Balancing people and technology, efficiency and trust, decision-making and participation.

👉 Where is your organization further along today: in technology, or in leadership and collaboration?
👉 Where are you currently investing more: in systems or in leadership development?

Leadership is not easy. And that’s exactly where its impact lies.

Across two parallel Leadership Labs, more than 25 leaders from the public sector are currently exploring one central question:

What does leadership really mean today, beyond models and methods?
Not tools.
Not frameworks.
But the reality of everyday leadership.

👉 Leadership operates in a space of growing complexity, multiple generations, and increasing expectations.
👉 At the same time, it requires providing orientation, without being able to control everything.

What keeps emerging:
Self-reflection is self-care.
Clarity, energy, and mindset are not “soft skills” they are the foundation of effective leadership.

And another insight stands out:
The real bottleneck is rarely the system.
It’s our ability to deal with it.

In the process, four key levers consistently emerge:
• Resilience & emotional self-leadership
• Time management & conscious prioritization
• Communication & collaboration
• Authentic, values-based leadership

Perhaps the most important realization:
“I’m not alone.”
Many leaders face similar challenges while showing a strong willingness to take responsibility and drive real change.

What helps?
Open exchange. Real cases. Honest reflection.
Not perfect. But effective.

Next step: Performance management and team development.
Because impact happens where leadership becomes concrete.

Leadership emerges through dialogue.

2026 • Clarity in Leadership. Impact in Change.

5/11/2025

Bild
2025 was a year of sharpening focus.
In executive sparrings and leadership labs, leaders gained clarity • about their role, their impact, and their priorities.

Now, 2026 takes it one step further:
From individual coaching to shaping leadership culture and organizational impact.
My focus: Strategic Leadership Impact.
I work with leadership systems, teams, and decision-makers who carry responsibility in complex transformation environments. At the core lies one principle:

👉 Clarity creates Impact. Emotion drives Change. Ambition leads Meaning.
This mindset defines the COREFLECTION approach
Clarity as the foundation. Emotion as the driver. Ambition as the direction.

With the new Leadership Lab 2026, we create spaces where: decisions become clearer, execution faster, and change more sustainable.

👉 Actively shape your leadership culture for clarity, impact, and lasting change.

2030 • Leading from the Future • From Ambition to Committed Action
The theme of our final module in the Leadership Lab

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of moderating and shaping the 6th and final module of the Leadership Lab at the Administrative Academy of Berlin.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of moderating and shaping the 6th and final module of the Leadership Lab at the Administrative Academy of Berlin.

Six months of deep engagement with leadership have shown us one thing clearly
👉 Time spent on leadership is time well invested.

What we take away
✓ Trust and reliability form the foundation of effective leadership.
✓ Cultural change follows structure: simplify processes, strengthen self-efficacy.
✓ Leadership means: providing clarity, demanding accountability, and accompanying change sustainably.

In the end, one insight remains
👉 Leadership is not a title, but an attitude.
👉 And change begins where attitude becomes visible.

Thank you to all participants for your humor, openness, and courage to rethink leadership.
Together, we have set impulses for the leadership of tomorrow.

Disruption • Not a Disturbance, but Reality

Topic: Leading Change When the Map No Longer Fits.
One of the biggest current challenges for leadership in the public sector.

Topic: Leading Change When the Map No Longer Fits.
One of the biggest current challenges for leadership in the public sector.

Leadership does not mean resolving contradictions • but consciously shaping them.
Outwardly. And inwardly.
 ✓ Preserving and transforming
✓ Providing safety while daring the new
✓ Offering orientation • without the illusion of control

We asked ourselves:
👉 How do I lead between securing stability and enabling renewal?
👉 How can I break habitual thinking without losing a sense of safety?
👉 How can I identify and leverage opportunities • even within cultural and legal boundaries?

My takeaway:
In times of disruption, leadership is not about having the perfect plan •
but about clarity of purpose, openness in approach, and courage to adapt.

Thank you to all participants for your thoughtful questions, clear stance, and the courage to challenge familiar perspectives.

In autumn, we’ll conclude the Leadership Lab with:
“2030 · Leading from the Future” and
I’m curious to see where this shared journey will take us next.

Narratives instead of Measures • Attitude instead of Manuals.

18/7/2025

Yesterday, I facilitated and designed the 4th module of the Leadership Lab at the Berlin Administrative Academy, held at the Senate Department for the Interior, Digitalisation and Sports:

“Change Management & Communication • Storytelling in Transformation Processes”
Leaders from various areas of public administration engaged with questions that rarely appear on to-do lists • yet often determine whether change succeeds:

How do we shape transformation through effective narratives?
👉 Creating clarity
👉 Addressing emotions
👉 Providing orientation

At the center were personal experiences with change •
and the question of how leadership can provide orientation without denying complexity.

Because: 👉 Good stories connect.
They create closeness where distance threatens • and open up spaces for action where uncertainty prevails.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants for depth, perspective shifts, and authentic dialogue.
I’m already looking forward to our next session.

🔜 What’s next? In August follows Module 5:
“Strategies for Change Facilitation · Disruption and Transformation.”

And finally, in autumn:
“2030 · Leading from the Future: From Ambition to Committed Action.”

Leadership in Turmoil • Leading Through Transformation: What Mindset Shift Do We Need?

24/6/2025

The TDI Day of Industry 2025 made it clear:

👉 It takes more than new answers •
it takes a new attitude.

BDI President Peter Leibinger sums it up:
“New times call for a new attitude. Instead of making demands of others, we should look inward and set expectations for ourselves. Only then do we gain credibility • and become true drivers of change.”

My takeaway from #TDI2025:
Leadership in times of upheaval means taking responsibility, practicing self-reflection, and having the courage to question one’s own attitudes and routines.
That’s the mindset shift we need now.

What made it especially enriching:
🤝 Many meaningful conversations, inspiring exchanges, and genuine discourse • open, critical, and forward-looking. Exactly what’s needed for leadership to evolve.

Save the date: #TDI26 will take place on June 22–23, 2026. #newtimes
